George Yepes

This is a painting done by George Yepes, Axis Bold as Love. It has a very strong similarity to the Virigin Mary kinda feel to it. Of course I could have found out more about the artist by reading all the stuff written about the artist on the wall, but um, I'm just interested in the work...less about the artist. Oh yeah, he is one of the featured artist in the Chicano exhibit.
